The short version

Make the caption, keyword, opening question, and delivered resource agree. These are editable starting points, not tested conversion claims.

How to use these without sounding like everybody else's robot

Each template contains a caption, keyword, Ask First question, buttons, public response, and delivery message. Replace the resource with something you provide and add its delivery URL. Do not promise a fictional checklist and hope the internet supplies one. The internet is busy.

Test a specific post with exact matching first. Contains matching uses substrings: ARM can match CHARM. Choose a distinctive keyword. New rules saved through the builder ignore letter case. An opening private reply is not an unlimited conversation invitation, and these templates are not an email-marketing signup.

1. A checklist people can use today

  • Keyword: WORKSHOPGUIDE
  • Caption: Hosting your first workshop? Comment WORKSHOPGUIDE and I will message you about the preparation checklist. It covers the unglamorous things that prevent glamorous disasters.
  • Opening question: Want the workshop preparation checklist?
  • Buttons: Yes, send it / Not now
  • Public reply: Sent you a DM about the checklist. Check Message Requests if it is playing hide-and-seek.
  • Delivery message: Here is the workshop checklist you asked for. Start with the supplies section, then enjoy being suspiciously prepared.

Use this for a preparation list, starter plan, or worksheet. ‘A 10-minute workshop preparation checklist’ gives more context than ‘my freebie.’ Keep the destination focused on that resource, without three unrelated offers before the download.

2. A recipe to go with the Reel

  • Keyword: PASTARECIPE
  • Caption: The Reel moves quickly. Dinner should not require forensic video analysis. Comment PASTARECIPE and I will message you about the ingredients and full method.
  • Opening question: Want the full pasta recipe and ingredient list?
  • Buttons: Send the recipe / No thanks
  • Public reply: Sent you a message about the recipe. Message Requests may be keeping it warm.
  • Delivery message: Here is the full pasta recipe, with quantities and timings. Read the method before turning on every burner. A surprisingly effective strategy.

A recipe Reel can leave people looking for measurements or substitutions. Match the delivery to the video. Check that the recipe works on a phone and the ingredients are easy to find. Do not promise a PDF when sending a recipe page.

3. Product details without inventing a personal discount

  • Keyword: DESKLAMP
  • Caption: For everyone asking about the lamp: comment DESKLAMP and I will message you about the product page, dimensions, and available finishes. Finally, a lighting decision with documentation.
  • Opening question: Want the desk lamp details and product link?
  • Buttons: Yes, show me / Not now
  • Public reply: Sent you a DM about the lamp. Check Message Requests if you do not see it.
  • Delivery message: Here is the desk lamp page with its dimensions and finish options. Check the current availability and delivery information before ordering.

Use a product-specific keyword when a post features several items or when you run multiple campaigns. The destination should show the actual product, current information, and any applicable terms. This template does not generate unique promo codes, reserve inventory, or promise that a product will remain available.

4. Booking information with a clear next step

  • Keyword: CONSULTINFO
  • Caption: Wondering whether a consultation is the right next step? Comment CONSULTINFO and I will message you about the session details and booking page. No mysterious calendar ambush.
  • Opening question: Want the consultation details and booking link?
  • Buttons: Show the details / No thanks
  • Public reply: Sent you a message with the next step. Check Message Requests if it is not in your inbox.
  • Delivery message: Here are the consultation details and booking page. Review the session format, price, and cancellation information before choosing a time.

This is a handoff to your booking page, not a booking system inside Instagram. Say whether the link is for a consultation, a paid appointment, or a request that still needs confirmation. Sending the page does not establish that somebody booked, qualified, or attended. Those outcomes need evidence from the destination.

5. A tutorial that finishes what the post started

  • Keyword: EDITTUTORIAL
  • Caption: Want the full version of this edit, with the settings explained? Comment EDITTUTORIAL and I will message you about the step-by-step guide. The speed-run was not the instruction manual.
  • Opening question: Want the full editing tutorial?
  • Buttons: Send the tutorial / Not now
  • Public reply: Sent you a DM about the tutorial. It may be in Message Requests.
  • Delivery message: Here is the complete editing tutorial. Start with the setup section so the later steps make sense. Future you appreciates the restraint.

Use this when the post demonstrates a technique but the full explanation needs more space. Link to the exact lesson, not a general homepage that asks the person to hunt for it. Keep the tutorial accessible to the audience you promised it to, and disclose any login or payment requirement in the caption.

Adapt the voice, then test the actual handoff

Edit the jokes until the messages sound like you. Keep the requested action unmistakable, especially on the Yes and No buttons. If you add public reply variations, each version should tell the truth about the same delivery step. Variations are not a promise of better reach or a way around platform enforcement.

Test with a fresh comment from a different account. Check the opening question, Yes delivery, No non-delivery, and resource access. If nothing arrives, diagnose the missing receipt before rewriting every sentence. These examples are copy starting points, not performance benchmarks or guarantees that every recipient will read the message.
