Triggered
Triggered vs. ManyChat

A ManyChat alternative
for the work you need.

For creators and small businesses whose campaign starts with “comment a keyword,” Triggered focuses on the next useful response. Share a resource, send an offer, or reply with a link without building a whole chatbot operation.

Triggered fits when...

  • You share guides, offers, or resources in response to a comment keyword.
  • You need supported Instagram or Facebook private delivery, or scheduled public TikTok and YouTube replies.
  • You want to review matches, questions, responses, and delivery attempts in one Activity view.

Keep a broader tool when...

  • Your flow depends on branching, tags, CRM syncing, AI conversations, or broadcasts.
  • You need channels or private-message features Triggered does not currently support.
  • Automatic new-follower DMs are essential to your campaign.

ManyChat availability varies by plan, region, and account. Its public product listing is not evidence that an individual account has every feature. Triggered checks TikTok and YouTube comments every five minutes, within finite content and comment coverage. That interval is not a guaranteed delivery time.

What about pricing?

Compare the current plan, supported platforms, and included usage, not just a headline monthly price. ManyChat’s current model uses monthly Active Contacts, with regional and legacy-plan differences [2]. Triggered’s plans set limits on connected profiles, active automations, and successful runs. This page does not claim it is cheaper for every workload.

Can I move my existing flows?

Not automatically. Record your current rule and messages, recreate the supported steps, and test on a separate post or keyword. Existing contacts, tags, conversations, and pending replies do not transfer into Triggered.

Read the switching checklist

Can Triggered DM new followers?

Not currently. Comment-to-DM and follow-to-DM are different capabilities. ManyChat documents an eligible-account beta [4], but that does not grant Triggered access. Do not switch on the assumption that it does.
